Guarantee for extras by credit card or cash
Our Front Office Team will ask for a credit card authorization over CHF 100 per room per night as a guarantee for potential extras. The amount will only be blocked on your credit card and will be used at check-out to settle the extas. An overage will be released immediately and automatically at check-out. Unused credit card authorizations are cancelled immediately and automatically at check-out. Alternatively you may provide a cash deposit over CHF 100 per room per night (or USD 100, EUR 100, GBP 100). At check-out, the cash deposit will be returned to you. Payments in cash are only possible in Swiss Francs.

Identification at check-in
Out Front Office requires a valid passport for all guests staying overnight.

Non-smoking room
Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking cigarettes (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is not permitted on property. A cleaning fee of CHF 500 will be charged.

Maximal occupancy of 3 guests
Please note that our hotel rooms can accommodate a maximum of 3 persons. Our room categories Standard Triple Rooms and Superior Corner Triple Room can accommodate 3 persons. If traveling with 4 persons, please book two separate rooms.

Cooking
Cooking and preparing warm meals using hot plates, camping stoves and gas bottles is strictly prohibited. A fee of CHF 500 will be charged.

Water
Lucerne's tap water is of the highest drinking water quality.

Bed Linen
We change bed linen every third day. Let us know if you would like yours changed sooner.

Towels
Please hang your towels to be used again. We will replace them if you leave them on the floor.

Shower & Drainage
Bathroom floors are not fitted with a drainage. Water is only permitted to run inside the shower and sink. A water overflow onto the bathroom floor or into the guest room will be charged a cleaning fee of CHF 500. Damages will be charged depending on cost of repairs.

Heating & Air Condition
We strive to save energy. Our heating and air conditioning system adjusts to the outside temperature. The system automatically turns off when windows are open.

Breakfast
Should you have made a room reservation excluding breakfast, you may add breakfast to your reservation at check-in for CHF 30 per adult per day or CHF 10 per child (6-11 years) per day. Children until the age of 5 can enjoy breakfast on a complimentary basis.

Parking
Our hotel offers a private underground parking garage. The number of parking spaces is limited. Please contact our Front Office Team via email to reserve a parking space. The rate is CHF 55 per night. The height restriction is 1.9m. We offer 3 charging stations for electric vehicles. Further information can be found under «Location & Directions». The public parking garages Hirzenmatt and Luzerner Kantonalbank are located in close proximity to the hotel.

Check-in
The guaranteed check-in time is 3:00pm. Should you arrive earlier and the room is not yet ready, we are happy to store your luggage. For a guaranteed early check-in prior to 3:00 pm, kindly reserve an additional night before the arrival date.

Check-out
Our check-out time is 11:00am. A late check-out can be arranged at a surcharge with our Front Office Team and is subject to availability.

Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Kindly inform us prior to arrival. Please be aware that a maximum of 2 dogs is permitted in a guest room. Our pet fee is CHF 40 per dog per night. All other pets, such as cats, are not permitted.

Currency Exchange
We do not offer any foreign currency exchange. Kindly visit one of the official exchange offices in the city or at the train station.

Laundry & Ironing
Laundry which is handed over to the Front Office Team until 09:00am will be returned the same evening. We do not offer any dry cleaning services. Laundry fees are stated in the laundry list in your room. Please note that, for security reasons, we do not offer any irons in our guest rooms. Please contact our Front Office Team who is happy to provide an iron and ironing board in a separate room.

Room Service
Our restaurant Mekong offers room service from 6:00pm until 9:30pm on opening days.
